Meet Your Coach

FLX Endurance was founded by Adam Sweet, a USA Triathlon Level 1 certified coach and athlete who believes that meaningful progress is built through consistency, simplicity, and long-term commitment to the process.

Adam has been competing in endurance sports for over five years, completing multiple marathons, shorter road races, Ironman 70.3 events, and triathlons at various distances. Through consistent training and structured progression, he has improved from a 5:22 Ironman 70.3 to a 4:36 Ironman 70.3 in eight months- qualifying him for the 2026 Ironman 70.3 World Championships.

Coaching Philosophy

Adam has also spent the past 9 years working as a teacher and coach, helping individuals develop skills, build confidence, and stay accountable to long-term goals. That experience translates directly into his coaching approach today: clear communication, structured progression, and an emphasis on understanding the athlete in front of him.

In a world where endurance training is often filled with noise, comparison, and overcomplication, FLX Endurance focuses on removing unnecessary complexity and returning to what actually drives results: consistent training, honest communication, and individualized coaching.

Who I Am as a Coach

I’m not an influencer. I’m not someone who trains full-time with unlimited hours in the day.

I’m an everyday athlete living in the Finger Lakes with my wife and two huskies, balancing training, work, and life like most of the athletes I coach.

That perspective matters. It means I understand what it’s like to fit training into a busy schedule, to miss sessions, to adjust when life gets in the way and still move forward.

My coaching philosophy is built around that reality: helping athletes progress without needing a perfect life or perfect training week.
